Metro Investigative Services

About Our Firm

Metro Investigative Services was established in 1987 by a retired police detective with over 20 years of service, including 10 years of undercover work. He still leads the agency and is actively involved as the overall director of operations, as well as the monitoring of the progress in all investigations.

 Areas Served

We maintain a presence in Maryland (License #106-2319, including the Eastern Shore), Metropolitan Baltimore/Washington, and the Northern Virginia area (License #11-1526).

 Specialties

While we perform a full range of investigative services, our main area of expertise is in domestic infidelity cases. We handle over 300 annually, resulting in a closure rate (catching the cheater) of over 98%. With the evidence we uncover, in most instances our clients are thus able to obtain divorces on the grounds of adultery. This is a distinct advantage both in obtaining a speedy divorce and in negotiations over property settlements. In many cases, our charges are also reimbursable as a part of the legal fees obtained from the assets of the offending spouse in the settlement.

 Services Description

Each case is assigned to a Case Manager, an experienced professional who allocates the resources required to conduct a thorough and successful investigation. Our operatives in the field are "on call" 24/7, often performing surveillance around the clock, when needed. Each case is handled according to the conditions required for a successful conclusion. Progress reports are delivered to clients, as developments warrant.

 Client Interface

We maintain a sophisticated, toll free, telephone network enabling clients to leave new information that will be helpful in their cases. Even though our normal office hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the communications system is available 24/7 to leave messages. As the cases develop, and events indicate that clients' worst fears are being realized, we inform them in the most considerate manner possible.

 Initial Retainer & Payments

After our initial consultation, when a prospective client decides to proceed with an investigation, we arrange a meeting at a convenient site of the client's choosing to discuss the details of the case. At that time we obtain from the client as much information as possible in order to expedite a successful case solution. The retainer agreed upon in our initial consultation also then will be required. It may be paid in cash, check or through an electronic debit from the client's bank account. Should additional funds be needed as the case develops, they may be paid in the same manner. Any funds on deposit that are not used in the investigation are refunded to the client.
